A continuously improving investment climate and the untapped immense agricultural potential are making Africa a hot spot for multinational investment concerns. The large-scale entry of multinational agricultural MNEs into Africa is not only a reflection of the continuous improvement of the agricultural investment environment in Africa, but also reflects the recognition of multinational corporations’ potential in African markets and the potential of agricultural resources. Although the planting industry, especially biofuels and cash crops are still the focus of agriculture-related multinationals investing in Africa, the investment in agriculture and downstream industries has received unprecedented attention. This is an important measure for the multinationals in developed countries in the future global agricultural layout . Due to the increase of non-agricultural cooperation in developing countries, the pattern of investment in non-agricultural investment is undergoing significant changes. The problems facing transnational corporations in developing African markets include both market and non-market factors. Agriculture is an important area for deepening China-Africa cooperation. The experience of transnational corporations involved in agriculture in investing in Africa is of great significance to deepening China-Africa cooperation.
