半夜里一个人呆在画室,喝一壶凉茶,吸好多香烟,随便翻翻书,胡乱涂涂画,这很快乐。丰子恺说人生的目的就是追求快乐。画画大概也不过如此。我不太相信在这个目的之外而又能把画画好。许多年以前,听陈丹青说他在乡下插队的时候,拿到一块雪白的画布就画不出画来,直想哭。我很感动,现在还是更喜欢他那时候的画。又有一次丁雄泉问我,你平时画的多不多,我说很多。他就高兴,说他画的也多,很多很多。用手比划,很得意的样子。我相信他说的话,单单在巴黎的依勿画廊我就看到过许多他的画,我相信他画的时候也一定非常快乐。有一些年轻的朋友到我的画室里
