多年来,作为影评人,我不遗余力地鼓励、支持直面现实的影片,为那些用勇气对当下现实发言的导演擂鼓助威,不论是体制外的,抑或是体制内的;直到去年,作为一名新导演,我拍了一部反映出租车司机现实艰辛的影片《午夜出租车》,作为我进军大银幕的处女作。有熟悉我的朋友纳闷,说你怎么搞上恐怖片了?其实看了影片,就不难找到答案。不论是写影评发出曲线救国式的绵薄之声,还是拍片时直抒胸臆用影像构建我的现实经验,这里边,其实一直有个东西贯穿始终,那就是我内心偏执而强烈的节奏——关注现实。
