忏悔人:薛维林原任职务:内蒙古自治区巴彦淖尔市临河区区长触犯罪名:受贿罪判决结果:7月12日,内蒙古自治区包头市中级人民法院判处薛维林有期徒刑11年。犯罪事实:薛维林利用职务之便,为他人谋取利益,多次非法收受或索取他人款物共计293万余元。1966年10月,我出生在内蒙古乌拉特后旗一个贫困农民家庭。1986年,我加入中国共产党并参加工作。在党组织培养下,我努力工作,从最基层一步步走上了领导岗位。然而,由于政绩观的偏失、法纪观的淡薄,以及对金钱的贪婪,我从一名优秀的年轻干部滑向了犯罪的深渊。

In October 1966, I was born in a poor peasant family in Wulatehouqi, Inner Mongolia. In 1986, I joined the Communist Party of China and took part in the work. In the party organization training, I work hard, step by step from the most grass-roots leaders. However, due to the loss of performance concept, the weakness of law and discipline, and the greed of money, I slipped from a good young cadre to the abyss of crime.
