当代社会,影像文化飞速发展,为跨文化交流带来了强烈的冲击。配以字幕的电影既能使观众在有限时间内获得信息,又能满足观众欣赏原声的要求,因而广受青睐,同时也促进了对电影字幕翻译这一新兴领域研究的迅速发展。本文试图从跨文化交流角度出发,分析《赤壁(上)》的字幕翻译中所体现出的中西文化差异以及字幕中文化因素传递的翻译策略。 In contemporary society, the rapid development of image culture has brought a strong impact on intercultural communication. Movies with subtitles are popular both for providing information within a limited time frame and for meeting the audience’s appreciation for soundtracks, and for the rapid development of research in the emerging field of movie subtitle translation. This paper tries to analyze the cultural differences between Chinese and Western cultures and the translation strategies of the cultural elements in the subtitle of Chibi (上) from the perspective of intercultural communication.
