红铃虫是我省棉区蕾铃期主要害虫,每年都要防治多次,消耗农药量约占棉田全部用药量的半数。对于红铃虫的药剂防治对策,有着几种不同的看法:有的认为普治第一代压基数好,可以争得全年防治的主动;有的认为第三代难治,要狠抓;也有的认为一、二、三代都要治,一代要比一代狠。众说纷云,相持不下。1981～1984年,我们通过红铃虫危害损失和防治指标的协作研究,认为主治二代,其次是三代的对策经济效益高。 Red bollworm is our province cotton area bollworm main pests, prevention and treatment many times each year, consumption of pesticides accounted for about half of the total dosage of cotton fields.
