10月18日,党的十九大胜利召开。在全国选举产生的2287名党的十九大代表中,有20多位是基层人民调解员。他们肩负广大人民调解员的重托和希望出席盛会,参议国是,展现了人民调解员队伍风采,也为人民调解工作发展增添了生动光彩的一页。人民调解作为一项具有中国特色的社会主义法律制度,在维护社会和谐稳定方面发挥了重要作用。目前,全国共有人民调解组织78.4万个,人民调解员385.2万人,覆盖全国城乡社区,每年调解矛盾纠纷
