明年是世纪之交,由北京电视艺术中心与北京佳达影视公司投资1200万元巨资制作的40集电视连续剧《中华儿女》讲述了在清末民初时期,一群不愿做亡国奴但又无力回天的中国人在痛苦与迷茫中,为了生存和尊严与中外恶势力做不屈斗争的故事。这部作品把这个特殊历史阶段,中国各阶层人物复杂的心态、坎坷的命运、曲折的情感融入到本世纪初那幅广大的民族灾难之中,表现了个人反抗的无望、无奈与无助,但同时又极热情地讴歌了这种弱小的反抗所体现的人类不甘被奴役、争取自由的伟大精神和意志。 导演有蒋家俊、高翊浚、叶成康、陈树楷、邓建勋;主演有元彪、贾静雯、曹颖、尤舅等。
