自20世纪90年代初开始,中国的当代艺术日益呈现出多样化发展的特征。在这样一个社会全面转型的时代,文化的发展再也不能无视于经济、社会的发展而独立存在,艺术的创造越来越屈从于大众的审美需要。
Since the early 1990s, China’s contemporary art has been showing increasingly diverse features. In such an era of comprehensive social transformation, the development of culture can no longer afford to ignore the economic and social development and exist independently. The creation of art is increasingly subject to the aesthetic needs of the general public.
