文章分A、B、C3个部分。A部分记述了为期4个月的高炉试验,评述了不同碱金属含量的炉料的高炉炉况,是通过在现有烧结厂里添加CaCl_2来减少烧结矿中碱金属含量的。B部分记述了减少炉料中碱金属的含量,可以稳定高炉操作,增加生铁产量。在这些实验中所发现的特殊问题可以在烧结厂进行研究,而后在纽卡斯尔厂的一些工厂进行试验。C部分记述了在高炉操作中所进行的炉外脱硫试验的实践。
Article points A, B, C3 parts. Part A describes a four-month blast furnace trial in which blast furnace conditions for charge materials of different alkali contents were reviewed by reducing the alkali metal content in the sinter by adding CaCl 2 to the existing sinter plant. Part B describes reducing the amount of alkali metals in the charge to stabilize blast furnace operations and increase pig iron production. The specific problems found in these experiments can be studied at the sintering plant and then tested at some plants in Newcastle. Part C describes the practice of out-of-furnace desulfurization tests conducted in blast furnace operations.
