“纨绔子”泛指身穿华美服饰的富家子弟,这一形象在各国各时期都有所体现。然而在中国明代中后期和西方唯美主义时期,“纨绔子”形象在各自的文化转型期内发生了相似的变化。本文从两种文化中各选取一位这种独特的“纨绔子”形象的代表人物——张岱和王尔德,先简要交待两种文化中“纨绔子”形象从传统到社会转型期发生的嬗变,再以张岱和王尔德为例比较分析两种文化转型期内的“纨绔子”形象的相似性,最后,本文将从社会转型、思想转型、审美转型三个方面,探析中西文化转型期出现这种相似的“纨绔子”形象的深层原因。
