霞浦县海岛乡西洋灯塔,又名横屿灯塔、洋屿灯塔,在2003年11月被列为霞浦县级文物保护点。西洋灯塔建于海岛乡政府驻地西洋岛仅数百米距离的横屿岛上,清光绪三十三年十二月(公元1908年1月)灯塔由清朝廷海关总税务司建成并投入使用。灯塔构造为铁制圆柱形,塔身高13米,塔顶为指示灯。灯塔旁边建有一座砖石钢筋水泥建筑起来的守塔房屋,有住房、储藏室、供电室,面积180多平方米。灯塔历经108年海浪暴雨的侵蚀,现已铁
