为了贯彻落实华主席关于“认真搞好安全生产和劳动保护”,“消灭井下矽肺病”的重要指示,促进冶金工业高速度发展,冶金部提出了今年的两项具体任务:一是大幅度减少伤亡事故,把工伤事故降到本单位历史最低水平;一是力争在今年内有三分之一的企业把矽尘和其他有毒物质的浓度降到国家卫生标准。这是安全生产、防尘防毒工作的跃进指标,是一场硬仗。
In order to implement Chairman Hua’s important instructions on “earnestly carrying out safety production and labor protection” and “eliminating underground silicosis” and to promote the rapid development of the metallurgical industry, the Metallurgical Department proposed two specific tasks for this year: first, drastically reduce Casualties, the work-related accidents down to the lowest level in this unit history; one is to strive to one-third of this year’s enterprises to the concentration of silica dust and other toxic substances reduced to the national health standards. This is a leap forward indicator of safety in production and dust-proof and anti-virus work and is a tough battle.
