在中华传统文化和中国当代社会的语境下,创伤记忆问题的提出,其理论价值和社会意义在于:它再次明确把文化表征问题与政治制度反思、哲学反思区别开来,赋予它独立的功能地位。这不仅因为文化表征更为复杂,也因为文化表征更为普遍、更为深入地渗透到全民族的精神、情感和心理深处。特别是,中华民族生活中许多重大的事件、创伤,为政治叙述和哲学叙述所删除,但恰恰为文化表征所叙述。因此,人民习惯于把文化表征看作真正的历史叙述。更为重要的是,它经常提醒我们:反思中国社会的创伤记忆,它与欧洲创伤记忆虽然表面相似,但其实有显著的差别,而这也决定着两者之间关注对象、面临的使命有着深刻的阶段性差异。
In the context of Chinese traditional culture and contemporary Chinese society, the theoretical and social significance of the traumatic memory problem lies in its unequivocal categorization of cultural representation from the reflection on and reflection on the political system, giving it an independent function status.
