With low-cost labor resources, China is the dominant manufacturing industry in the world. However, to date, most Chinese companies have been content with acting as Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), supplying a wide range of products, from toys to televisions, to private labels of the world’s largest branded businesses and retailers.
