在《制造共识:大众传媒的政治经济学》一书中,乔姆斯基和赫尔曼提出美国媒体遵循着一种特殊的宣传模式,即某一事件在被确定为值得报道之前,它必须通过五大新闻过滤器。这五大过滤器模式在中国的媒介环境下存在一定的借鉴意义,能够为媒介研究提供范式,虽然有一些已经过时,不再符合世界潮流。本文将进行初步探讨。
In Making Consensus: The Political Economy of the Mass Media, Chomsky and Herman suggested that the American press follow a special propaganda pattern whereby an event must, before it is determined as worth reporting, Pass five news filters. These five major filter models have certain referential meanings in China’s media environment and can provide a paradigm for media research. Although some are outdated, they no longer conform to the global trend. This article will conduct a preliminary discussion.
