随着IP数据业务的飞速发展,IP数据业务逐渐占用了网络中的主要带宽资源。由于IP数据业务具备突发、多变、不确定等随机性特点,传统光传送网固定分配带宽的模式在传输数据业务时越来越不适应。从网络结构来看,传统光传送网采用了多层结构组网方式,网络指配过于复杂、传输开销过大;从网络带宽资源来看,虽然密集波分系统有着巨大的传输容量,但只提供了固定的传输带宽,无法实现带宽的动态按需分配。因此,传统光传送网向具备智能特性的光网络发展成为了一种趋势。
