1980年以来,我公司有60%的钻机转入胶东金矿区施工.为了在金矿勘探过程中推广金刚石钻探,将金刚石钻进工艺的研究、金刚石钻探最小合理口径的探讨,列为我公司重要的研究课题.为此,从1981年开始,在三个金矿坑道中进行了刻槽取样和模拟对比试验,研究确定金刚石钻探的口径.1983年,我公司一队在平度旧店金矿区投入两台金刚石钻机,开展金刚石钻进工艺的试验研究.两台金刚石试验钻机分别采用φ60与φ75毫米钻探口径,用一般提钻取心钻
