In a country like ours that has a profound influence on Confucian tradition, it is of special significance to study the influence of leader’s morality on its performance. Under the influence of Confucianism, Chinese people have always emphasized the evaluation of the leader as having both ability and political integrity, paying particular attention to the “moral character” of the leader and the employee’s expectations of the leader are often not limited to the scope of their job responsibilities. Therefore, it is of special significance for our leaders’ moral character to achieve their performance with particular significance. In Western countries, employees can distinguish between their ability to work and personal qualities. The Confucian emphasis on “self-cultivation, Qi family, governing the country, the world,” the first is to “self-cultivation” before we talk about “Qi family, governing the country, the world.” Therefore, in China, employees often find it hard to tolerate a leader who is capable, but not good, in his ability. In the case of staff acceptance of leadership has become a problem, the performance of the leaders even more talk about it. I hope this article can arouse the attention of the leaders, especially the ideological and moral qualities.
