2014年,我参加中国艺术研究院与欧盟文化处共同举办的第六届中欧文化论坛,代表中国艺术家发言。那次论坛在罗马尼亚举办,也是我第一次来到伟大的雕塑家布朗库西的故乡。在布加勒斯特,我有幸看到了布朗库西更多的作品,特别是一些早期作品。让我更深刻地认识到布朗库西在西方现代艺术的转折期承前启后的重要贡献。同时,我参观了布加勒斯特的民居公园,那里是一栋栋从罗马尼亚各地挪移过来的乡村建筑,从那些建筑中看到了罗马 In 2014, I attended the 6th China-EU Cultural Forum jointly organized by the China Academy of Art and the European Union Culture Department to speak on behalf of Chinese artists. That forum was held in Romania and it was the first time I came to the hometown of the great sculptor Brancusi. In Bucharest, I had the privilege of seeing more of Blanchardie’s work, especially some of the early works. Let me realize more deeply that Brancusi made an important contribution in the turning point of Western modern art.
