保障职工群众经济、政治、文化、社会权益是我国社会主义制度的根本要求,是党和国家的神圣职责,也是发挥广大职工群众积极性、主动性、创造性最重要最基础的工作。新形势下,工会要赢得职工群众的信赖和支持,就必须做好维护职工群众切身利益的工作。各级工会和广大工会干部要始终牢记维权基本职责,准确抓住维权突出问题,切实改进维权工作方法,不断提升工会维权工作水平。
To safeguard the economic, political, cultural and social rights and interests of the masses of workers and staff is the fundamental requirement of our country’s socialist system and the sacred duty of the party and the country. It is also the most important and basic task of giving play to the enthusiasm, initiative and creativity of the masses of workers and staff alike. In the new situation, if the trade unions win the trust and support of the masses of workers and staff, they must do a good job in safeguarding the vital interests of the workers and the masses. The trade unions at all levels and the cadres in the vast numbers of trade unions should always keep in mind the basic duties of safeguarding their rights, accurately grasping the prominent problems of their rights protection, effectively improving their working methods of safeguarding the rights and safeguarding the working level of trade unions.
