19世纪的英国作家托马斯·潘瑞格享有“南非诗歌之父”的称号。本文结合当时的历史背景及作家的生平,运用后殖民主义中的“自我”与“他者”理论,分析他和他的诗作,以及其对南非文学的巨大贡献。
The 19th century British writer Thomas Panrigue has the title of “father of South African poetry.” This article analyzes his and his poems and their great contributions to South African literature in light of the historical background and the life of the writers and the theory of “self” and “the other” in postcolonialism.
