100 years ago, on the ancient and crisis-ridden land of China, a revolution that had a significant impact on the course of Chinese history broke out. This is the 1911 Revolution launched by the revolutionaries represented by Dr. Sun Yat-sen in 1911. The Revolution of 1911 overthrew the rule of the Qing Dynasty, ended the feudal monarchy of more than 2,000 years in China, opened a new era of democratic republic and made the concept of a democratic republic deeply rooted in the hearts of the people. After a hundred years of struggle, twists and turns, and exploration, the Chinese nation is heading for a great rejuvenation as well as facing enormous challenges. Today, a hundred years later, we still need to reflect on the problems our compatriots met before and after the 1911 Revolution. Such as stretching the concept of hierarchy for thousands of years, the noble sense of wealth, giants to do, etc., the ghost is still wandering. The unfinished anti-feudal mission of the 1911 Revolution is still a long way to go. Therefore, on the 100th anniversary of the Revolution of 1911, we commemorate the historical changes in this epoch-making era, cherish the glorious achievements of pioneers of the democratic revolution and, moreover, inherit their unfinished business. Recently, our editorial department held a symposium entitled “Commemorating the 100th Anniversary of the Revolution of 1911,” and some scholars and scholars discussed some controversial topics concerning the Revolution of 1911 in recent years. Many of them are deeply insightful insights. This issue issues some scholars’ speeches with a view to arousing further discussion.
