近来到国家画院学习,听到了两个震耳的说法:一个是关乎古代的,一个是关乎现代的。说法一:我们现在比古人学习的条件好多了,现在印刷品那么丰富,各个时代的都有,古人能看到那么多吗?我们现在还有很多博物馆,展出的那么多作品,古人能有我们见到的原作多吗?下面还有一些洋洋自得的话。咋一听似乎蛮有道理,其实现代人和古人是不能相比的。若说古代的一般老百姓,就以上所说的两项条件当然是不能和现代的老百姓比了。但要知道中国古代的绘画最高水平,不是普通老百姓,而是士大夫阶层。士大夫们把他们喜欢的古代绘画作品购买来,收藏在自己的家中,以便随时观赏、临摹。我们现在都知道,再好的印刷品也不能和原作相比。那些精微之处,那
