田径竞赛具有项目多、组别多、参加人数多和时间长、规则内容复杂等特点。传统手工编排、成绩录入和总分计算等“粗放式”的处理方式,已经难以适应现代田径运动竞赛大型化、复杂化的要求。为了提高竞赛组织工作的科技含量,上世纪九十年代就有人试图用计算机技术解决田径运动竞赛的编排问题,但由于比赛种类和层次多,各项规定不统一和比赛过程中灰色因素多等因素,所有出台的软件仅适用于初始设计的比赛类型。因此,解决软件“单一化”和及时调整比赛要件的“可控”性,成为新一代软件要解决的问题。运用Basic语言,在数据库的支持下,研制和开发了可调控式田径竞赛秩序册编排与成绩管理系统,在省级田径比赛和各级各类学校比赛中进行了6年百余场比赛的实际应用。实践表明,系统可为各层次田径竞赛工作提供便利服务,它能快速、准确、可靠地解决田径竞赛中的复杂编排、检录、名次排列、成绩公告、团体总分统计等技术问题,同时可有效地将编排组人员减少2/3,达到了快速、准确和高效的目的。
