孔子“正名”主要是指出语言运用不当造成的事实混乱,其含义相当粗略与模糊。《荀子.正名》看到了名实混乱的危害,提出了制名的方法和原则。相比孔子之法先王、复周礼,《荀子》是法后王、制新礼,已经开始寻找与当前政治上的强者合作来结束名实混乱的现状。同时《正名》关于道法、名礼的论述,上接黄老下启法术,具有关键性的承接意义。
Confucius “name ” mainly points out the confusion caused by improper use of language, and its meaning is quite rough and vague. “Xunzi. 正名” saw the harm of the real name chaos, put forward the method and principle of the name.
