Since the 1970s, the United States has paid special attention to studying the impact of social interaction on young children’s ability to learn, to adapt to the new environment and their ability to adapt to society after they have become adults. Research results make them more emphasis on young children’s social learning. Studies by American scholars show that children with poor communication skills have relatively poor social adaptability and learning ability. On the contrary, children with communicative ability have stronger social adaptability and academic performance. The study also shows that, according to the early childhood’s social adaptability, they are able to predict their social adaptability in adulthood. Through several follow-up studies, American scholars also come to the conclusion that juvenile delinquency and the lack of command ability of military personnel exist in connection with their early childhood
