传统的MIMO雷达的发射阵列通常进行全向发射,而感兴趣的目标往往集中在较小的空域范围内,全向发射就造成了大量的功率浪费,从而导致波束形成器的输出信干噪比降低,针对这一不足,提出了一种基于发射波束域预处理的MIMO雷达MVDR波束形成算法。该算法首先利用二阶锥规划设计出波束域矩阵,通过发射波束域预处理使发射功率聚集在感兴趣的区域,同时保持预处理后的导向矢量的旋转不变性,然后利用MVDR算法进行自适应波束形成。仿真结果表明:波束域预处理提高了发射功率的利用率,因此,在发射功率相同的条件下,基于发射波束域预处理的MIMO雷达MVDR波束形成器具有更高的输出信干噪比。
Traditional MIMO radar transmit arrays usually perform omni-directional transmission, while interested targets are often concentrated in the smaller airspace range. Omni-directional transmission causes a lot of power wasted, resulting in the output of the beamformer’s SINR Aiming at this problem, this paper proposes a MIMO radar MVDR beamforming algorithm based on beamforming pre-processing. Firstly, the beamforming matrix is designed by using the second-order cone and the transmit power is concentrated in the region of interest by the pre-processing of the transmitted beam. At the same time, the rotation invariance of the pre-processed steering vector is maintained. Then the MVDR algorithm is used to adaptively Beamforming. The simulation results show that the beam-domain pre-processing improves the utilization of the transmit power, therefore, the MVDR beamformer based on the pre-processing of the transmit beam domain has a higher output SINR with the same transmit power.
