农业在古罗马人的生活中占有十分重要的地位,尤其是古罗马早中期农业的发展,促进了罗马社会政治经济的快速发展。古罗马王政时期到共和国中期农业的发展推动了整个罗马早中期社会经济的发展,这为罗马成为一个地跨亚、非、欧的大帝国打下了坚实的基础。同时,古罗马农业的发展形成了欧洲以后的农业格局雏形,奠定了以后欧洲农业发展的基础。
Agriculture occupies a very important position in the ancient Roman life, especially the development of agriculture in early and middle-aged Rome, which promoted the rapid development of political economy in Rome. The development of middle-aged agriculture in the Republic of Rome during the period from the ancient Roman royal government to the republic promoted the social and economic development of the whole of Rome in the early to mid-1990s, laying a solid foundation for Rome to become a great empire across Asia, Africa and Europe. At the same time, the development of agriculture in ancient Rome formed the embryonic form of agriculture after Europe and laid the foundation for the future development of European agriculture.
