我于1928年毕业于吴淞水产学校渔捞科,进入社会后,一直从事商船航海工作,当时外国航商的势力十分巨大,如太古、怡和、日清等公司都有较大的船从,并在中国各港口都有优良的各种航运设施和办事机构,它们利用不平等条约,肆意破坏我国的沿海航行权、内河航行权,并通过洋人占绝对优势的海关把持我国各主要港口的引水权。但此时除腐败的招商局之外,中国的私营航业也在重重压迫下缓慢地兴起。
