混凝土坝用的止水片起接缝止水作用(图1),要求有良好的强度、塑性、抗渗性和化学稳定性。目前国内都用紫铜板制成。丹江口大坝的止水片是用的1.5毫米的紫铜板。国内多采用黄铜或紫铜焊条搭接气焊(图2)。这种焊接方法,工人的劳动条件差、劳动生产率低、材料消耗多。我厂职工高举毛泽东思想伟大红旗,大学毛主席著作,在党的领导下,发挥了敢想、敢干的精神,采取领导、技术人员、工人三结合,试验成功了碳弧焊接止水片的新方法(图3),并已用于丹江口大坝防渗板部份的止水片焊接。这种焊接法的优越性在于: 1.原来用黄铜焊条(含锌24%~44%)焊接时,排出大量锌毒。碳弧焊不用焊条,大大地改善了工人的劳动条件。 2.黄铜气焊每人每班约焊15米焊缝,碳弧焊每人每班可焊60米,提高了劳动生产率。 3.每米止水片,黄铜焊接需用黄铜焊条约2公

Carbon arc welding without electrodes, greatly improving the working conditions of workers. 2. Brass gas welding about 15 meters per person per class weld, carbon arc welding per class can be welded 60 meters, improve labor productivity. 3.
