根据普遍使用较大数量化肥是我国现代农业发展的重要标志,指出应用现代施肥技术是提高肥效、减少化肥对生态环境等负面影响的基本途径。提出现代施肥技术的核心和关键在于把化肥施到作物吸收根系的分布区域。阐述现代施肥技术基本原则:把任何化肥都施到作物根系的伸展区域,供作物快速有效吸收;将化肥溶于水制成营养液后随水灌施,能明显提高水、肥的利用率。
