通过对浙江德清县防风传说的追溯,借由神话仪式学派的理论,可以窥见防风传说的原型源于稻作农耕中的祭祀仪式。由于大洪水的降临,祭祀中的巫术失效,而逐渐蜕变为神话传说。在民间的防风传说讲述中,尽管其内在结构与象征性都暗合了大禹传说,承继了传统政治文化空间中的卡利斯玛精神,但是作为隐藏在地方的民间传说,则以喊冤的形式,表达了民间对中心权威的反抗。这一过程,折射的是防风传说的民间性转化。
