6月28日北京日报发表《如何把握法律范围内的新闻真实》一文,文章引述了著名法学专家、中国人民大学法学院教授杨立新的一些观点,读来颇受教益。他认为:一、新闻真实是相对的。无论是法律还是社会,对新闻真实的要求都是相对的。在新闻官司中,法院只要认定新闻报道“基本属实”,就应当认定是真实的报道,就不应当构成侵权。二、新闻真实须考虑社会妥当性。所谓社会的妥当性,就是报道出来是否符合社会公众利益的要求,是否有利于像青少年这类特殊社会群体的健康成长,是否适应现代社
On June 28, the Beijing Daily published a speech entitled “How to Grasp the News in the Realm of Law”. The article quotes some of Yang Lixin, a famous law expert and professor of law at Renmin University of China. He thinks: First, the truth of the news is relative.
