英美文学课是以提高学生的人文素质,增强学生的文学欣赏能力,扩大学生知识面,培养学生语言能力为目标而开设的。该课程的开设在学生语言、文化学习中的重要性毋庸置疑。然而,由于种种问题尚未解决,英美文学课堂教学一直以来境遇尴尬。英美文学教学怎样走出困境,以适应新形势的发展和需要成了文学课教师值得思考的问题。
English and American literature courses are based on improving students’ humanistic quality, enhancing their literary appreciation ability, expanding students’ knowledge and cultivating students’ language ability. The course is open in the student language, cultural importance of no doubt. However, due to various problems that have not yet been solved, English and American literature classroom teaching has always been embarrassing. How to get out of the predicament of English and American literature teaching in order to adapt to the development and needs of the new situation has become a question worthy of consideration for literature teachers.
