我们在多所高等院校讲授英语的时间已经很久,但经验还是有限的。现在我们把运用对比的情况简单地谈一下。在不断的教学实践中,我们体会到,所教的对象,无论是初学的人,还是具有一定外语基础的人,所教的课程无论是科技英语,还是外语院校的专业英语,都是一样,那就是:对比研究(Comparative study)确是一种很有益的方法,它起着相当大的作用。词汇方面的对比可以说是其它方面对比,如:修辞润色(figures of speech),写作方法(art of writing),以及文章体裁(prose style)等的第一步。
It has been a long time since we taught English in many institutions of higher learning, but our experience is still limited. Now let’s talk about the use of contrast. In constant teaching practice, we realize that the subjects taught, whether it is beginners or people who have a certain foreign language foundation, teach the courses both in technical English and professional English in foreign-language colleges and universities are the same That is: Comparative study is indeed a very useful method, it plays a considerable role. The vocabulary comparisons can be compared with other aspects such as the figures of speech, the art of writing, and the prose style.
