翻译研究离不开英汉语言对比。英汉词类划分不同及词类使用频率的突出差异的重要体现之一就在于名词的使用上英语多用名词,名词化是英语的典型特征。国内一般英语学习者对英语名词的整体认识,大都局限在语法层次上的名词知识。因此,如何从翻译的角度对名词进行比较全面深入的研究值得探讨。
Translation Studies can not be separated from English and Chinese. One of the most important manifestation of the salient differences between English and Chinese parts categories and their frequency of use is the use of nouns in English multipurpose terms. Nominalization is a typical feature of English. The general knowledge of English nouns by the general English learners in China is mostly confined to grammatical level of noun knowledge. Therefore, it is worth discussing how to make a comprehensive and in-depth study of nouns from the perspective of translation.
