目的:检测胎盘生长因子(PLGF)在多发性骨髓瘤(MM)中的表达水平,分析其与MM的临床分期、分型及预后的关系,进一步探讨其临床意义。方法:采用酶联免疫吸附法(ELISA)检测33例MM患者(初治16例,进展期6例,稳定期11例)与20例健康对照者骨髓液和外周血中PLGF的表达水平。结果:MM初治组和进展期组骨髓液及外周血的PLGF水平均明显高于对照组(P<0.05)。PLGF水平在稳定期组中明显减低,与初治组比较差异有统计学意义(P<0.05)。MM患者骨髓液及外周血中PLGF的水平均随着ISS分期增高而升高,但各期之间差异无统计学意义(P>0.05),各分型之间也均无统计学意义(均P>0.05),骨髓与外周血的PLGF表达具有相关性,且外周血显著高于骨髓。结论:PLGF异常表达与MM的发生、发展及预后有关,因此检测MM患者PLGF的表达水平可能对评估病情和判断预后有重要意义。
OBJECTIVE: To detect the expression of placental growth factor (PLGF) in multiple myeloma (MM) and analyze its relationship with clinical stage, classification and prognosis of MM, and to further explore its clinical significance. Methods: The expression of PLGF in bone marrow fluid and peripheral blood of 33 MM patients (16 initial, 6 advanced, 11 stable) and 20 healthy controls were detected by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Results: The levels of PLGF in bone marrow fluid and peripheral blood in MM-treated group and advanced-stage group were significantly higher than those in control group (P <0.05). The level of PLGF in the stable group was significantly lower than that in the untreated group (P <0.05). The levels of PLGF in bone marrow fluid and peripheral blood of patients with MM increased with the increase of ISS stage, but there was no significant difference between the stages (P> 0.05), nor were there any statistical significance P> 0.05). The expression of PLGF in bone marrow and peripheral blood was correlated, and the peripheral blood was significantly higher than that in bone marrow. Conclusion: Abnormal expression of PLGF is associated with the occurrence, development and prognosis of MM. Therefore, detecting the expression of PLGF in MM patients may be of great significance in assessing the prognosis and prognosis.
