小麦晚霜冻害是曲阜地区的主要自然灾害之一，发生频率仅次于旱灾与水灾。据《山东小麦》（山东省农业厅著）记载，新中国成立以来山东省发生严重霜冻有３次：１９５３年４月１２日，全省１３３万hm２麦田受灾，平均减产２成；１９５４年４月２０日，全省６８万hm２麦田受冻；
Wheat frost damage is one of the major natural disasters in Qufu, occurring second only to drought and flood.
