“Listening” is a kind of active comprehensive skill and it is also the most difficult part in foreign language learning. In 1981, in the TOEFL test held in 22 regions in Asia, the country’s candidates ranked 9th in overall score, 5th in grammar structure, 6th in reading, and 20th in listening! In practice, we found that although many students have a certain amount of knowledge of English grammar, a certain amount of life and professional vocabulary, and can read and translate the English literature of the major they study, they often do not understand what they would have understood at first glance. Word or sentence. Sometimes, even if you understand a few words, you will forget it in an instant. The reason why “listening” is difficult is that the contents, speech, intonation, speech rate and so on of the speeches all depend on each other, and the listeners are completely passive. In order to quickly improve listening skills, listening to a foreign language must be focused on listening and learning methods. In short, the two issues of “listening to what” and “how to listen to” are resolved.
