在香菇栽培中,肉座菌(Hypo-crea)、木霉属(Trichderma)菌群往往给香菇菌丝造成较大的损害。肉座菌与木霉菌菌丝追杀菇木内的香菇菌丝,导致香菇减产。迄今为止,仅在菇木上发现的肉座菌属并已摸清其特性的就有15种以上,木霉属4种以上,粘帚霉属4种以上。木霉菌群除了在土壤中、植物遗体堆积的腐殖质中、腐朽树木的表面及内部生长外,在木屑栽培菌床或野生菇类及其它霉菌菌丝的表面也有它的家族成员。木霉种类虽不同,但其侵害菇木的途径却是相同的。
