陈岱公社礁尾海马养殖场,在党的支持下,把原来围建监埕的十余亩土地创办起来的。但由于缺乏经验,在3月份建场后,曾先后购进海马苗一千五百余条,不上三天就全部死亡。为了总结经验,复于四、五两月再购进海马苗二千余条,又生出小海马一千余条,目前这些小海马身长已生长至五公分,而且袅游正常。经几个月的试验,估计成活率达90%以上,从各方面观察,证实海马是可以养殖的。现将取得经验介绍如下:
