On October 10, 1957, the then worst nuclear accident in the world broke out. A fire broke out at a reactor in the Windsor Kiel nuclear power station and a large amount of radioactive material was released to the surroundings. Although local firemen controlled the fire, Serious air pollution, the local government introduced a ban on milk and held a series of conference. After the accident, Britain conducted two accident investigations and made improvements to its construction and later nuclear power plants. The Wennskirche nuclear accident had a profound impact on nuclear energy development in Britain and the world. At present, there are few studies on the Wennsikel nuclear accident in our country, which basically belong to the blank field. Therefore, this article will elaborate on this incident.
