翻译的复杂性与翻译理论研究的开放性决定了文化翻译理论产生的必然性。文化翻译是综合文化学、跨文化交际学和文化语言学来研究翻译活动的一种新的角度。把握和理解文化翻译的概念,认清文化翻译的目标,对我们研究翻译有着许多裨益。同时对文化翻译的基本原则和手法的研究将有助于我们适应今天全球化下的文化融合和冲突,更好的理解他国文化和传播本民族文化。
The complexity of translation and the openness of translation studies determine the inevitability of the theory of cultural translation. Cultural translation is a new perspective on translation studies that integrates cultural studies, intercultural communication and cultural linguistics. Grasping and understanding the concept of cultural translation and understanding the goals of cultural translation have many benefits for us to study translation. At the same time, the study of the basic principles and techniques of cultural translation will help us to adapt to the cultural integration and conflicts under globalization today, to better understand other cultures and to spread our own national culture.
