中国水利水电科学研究院水力机电研究所拥有三座具有国内领先水平的大型试验台,可从事水力机械能量特性试验、空化性能试验、飞逸特性试验、水压脉动特性试验、力特性试验、水流内特性试验、水泵-水轮机过渡过程特性试验等.近年来在承担三峡、二滩等国家重大工程的前期科研攻关任务的同时,结合市场需要,针对混流式水轮机、轴流与贯流式水轮机、离心泵、轴流泵、泥浆泵、贯流泵等研究开发了优秀水力模型.在模型试验技术、水力机械内部流动分析、抗磨防蚀技术、水力机械振动稳定性研究等方面,亦取得了具有重大学术价值的研究成果.
