提出了一种基于级联电吸收调制器(EAM)和相位调制器(PM)的多载波光源发生器方案。对比分析了基于单个EAM级联PM的多载波光源发生器与基于两个EAM级联PM的多载波光源发生器产生的多载波光源,利用基于两个EAM级联PM的多载波光源发生器实现了频率间隔为15GHz、平坦度在0.1dB范围内的19个子载波的多载波光源。同时研究了EAM的调制指数和啁啾因子、PM的驱动信号幅度以及调制器驱动信号的相位差等参数对产生多载波光源的影响。
A multi-carrier light source generator scheme based on Cascaded Electrical Absorption Modulator (EAM) and Phase Modulator (PM) is proposed. A multi-carrier light source generator based on a single EAM cascading PM and a multi-carrier light source generated by a multi-carrier light source generator based on two EAM cascading PMs are comparatively analyzed. The multi-carrier light source generator based on two EAM cascading PMs is implemented A multi-carrier light source of 19 sub-carriers with frequency spacing of 15 GHz and flatness in the range of 0.1 dB was used. At the same time, the modulation index and chirp factor of EAM, the amplitude of PM driving signal and the phase difference of modulator drive signal are studied to influence the multi-carrier light source.
