As emission regulations become more stringent and require greater regulation of the EGR rate of the EGR system, a simple EGR system can not meet the requirements. Several types of EGR systems with variable cross-section turbines and exhaust throttle valves in conjunction with one-way valves were studied, and the application effects of variable-section turbine and exhaust throttle valves in one-way EGR systems were analyzed and compared
