台湾在过去多年的乒乓球发展过程中,一直是以跟随和适应国际乒乓球技术发展趋势为主要对策的,然而,乒乓球项目发展的形势要求我们去大胆地预测和创新,走出一条新的路子来。本文的研究试图阐述多项改革措施和长期发展策略,构筑符合台湾特色的乒乓球运动发展模式,以供参考。研究方法: 主要采用文献资料法,归纳法,演绎法,专家访谈法。研究结果: 台湾乒乓球运动的未来发展一方面要采取“走出去”的办法,这主要以庄智渊为代表,让他们尽可能多地参加国际赛事,与国际优秀乒乓球运动员进行交流,另一方面要辅以蒋鹏龙为代表的本地培养相结合的模式。台湾乒乓球技术水平要达到世界顶尖水平的目标,将需要10年的时间,具体来讲分3个阶段使我们的运动员在世界3大赛事上具备夺冠的能力;从当前形势来看,我们的重点应放在男子项目上,而不是女子项目,重点放在个人单项,而不是团体项目。更具体来讲,目前的战略重点应放在庄智渊这名选手身上。台湾乒乓球运动要更好地发展就必须引入竞争机制,要关注后备运动员的培养,并深入细致地研究主要对手的情况。其主要途径是要通过完备3大体系,即决策体系,训练体系和保障支撑体系,完善8大措施系统,即管理系统,信息系统,训练系统,教练员培训系统,竞赛系统,咨询与奖励系统,技战术研究系统
