陷落柱赋存特点及其与围岩地层的物性差异,决定了其陷落柱特殊的地震响应特征:如地震剖面出现同相轴的中断、扭曲、弯曲、倾斜现象以及振幅、波形、频率等动力学特征突变现象,另外还可见异常波;在属性切片上其形态特征表现为椭圆形、似圆形,有时可见到长条形或串珠状。断陷点的解释是陷落柱解释的关键,为此利用放射状、网格状测线切出的剖面来解释陷落柱,能够基本控制断陷点的位置,再配合属性切片、三维可视化显示等解释手段,全方位、多角度地对数据体进行分析,大大提高了解释陷落柱的准确度。运用该种方法解释的成果已得到实际资料的验证。
