当前,随着地震勘探程度的不断深入和对油气资源急剧增长的需求,油气勘探的目标逐步进入到复杂隐蔽性油气藏、岩性油气藏的勘探和对小尺度油气藏的精细刻划阶段,但对于覆盖广的深层潜山内幕所知甚少。在部分油井的钻探中偶遇了太古界油气储层,探索太古界内幕成为油气勘探的新机遇。这说明被忽略的太古界潜山仍然存在着实现其内幕成像的可能,但这些迫切需要现有的地震勘探技术对太古界潜山有所重视,在技术上有新突破。
